Infertility is the inability of the couple to achieve a pregnancy despite unprotected intercourse for a period greater than one year. Infertility may be caused by problems in men, women, or in both.

Diagnosis For Men
- Spermiogram
- Seminal culture and Antibiogram
- Immunobead Binding Test (IBT) , MAR test (for ýmmunological fertility)
- Sperm MAC test, function tests
- Skrotal and Color Doppler Ultrasound
- Testis biopsy and scrotal exploration
In men, hormone disorders, illness, reproductive anatomy trauma and obstruction, and sexual dysfunction can temporarily or permanently affect sperm and prevent conception. Some disorders become more difficult to treat the longer they persist without treatment.
